When attempting to end date previous address and starting new address the day after the previous address is end dated for a Canadian employee via PUI (Address Form), the following error occurs.
A payroll exists which pre-dates the start date for this address. If this is an update then please end date the last primary address and create a new record for the new primary address. If this is a correction then please retain the original start date of this address.
Note: Address style being used is Generic Address Style. Employee old address starts 16 Mar 2009 and tried end-dating as of 06-Dec-2009 and starting a new address record as of 07-Dec-2009. Currently this error has been encountered for 2 employees in Canada Business Group.
Same error comes with Generic Address style, CA and US Address styles too. Thus NO WORKAROUND and employee's address is not update at all. This has SEVERE IMPACT on Payroll and several other functionality and is critical it be resolved.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Super HRMS Manager - CA Business Group
2. Search for employee number xxx
3. Open the Address form from Person Form
4. Existing Address is displayed
5. End-date the address and the error message occurs.
