" Invalid File Content Type " Error While Uploading Bulk File On IE 11 and above When the Application is Hosted on UNIX Environment (Doc ID 2253024.1)

Symptoms

ERROR:

It is observed whenever we are uploading any file (Create bulletin, Upload
bulk file) in certain version of IE (Specifically IE 11 and above), it does not allow the upload and throws error message "Invalid content Type" when the Online Banking is hosted on Unix Environment.

SIMULATION STEPS:

1. Login into FCDB Internet Banking Application in IE 11 and upload a Bulk File.

2. Note that in Internet Explorer - Internet Explorer->Tools->Internet Option->Security->Custom->Include local directory path When uploading files to a server is set to "Enabled"

3. Error - Invalid Content Type is observed on the Screen although the File Name, File Contents everything is acceptable and working fine with other browsers and in Windows OS.

4. The Same Error is Observed for Create Bulletin as well.

BUSINESS IMPACT:

Due to this error, the Corporate Users cannot upload Bulk File in IE11 and above and with the particular setting is enabled as described above.

Changes

A Change in the Browser Setting in Internet Explorer (IE11 and above) at Client Side caused this Issue. The Setting has been described above in "Simulation Steps"
