1. Following statements in the rule execution log file in the path $FIC_DB_HOME/log/ruleexecution folder
java.lang.Exception: Select clause of merge did not return valid mappings. Please check rule definition.

2. There are no mappings for the rule in the rule definition. (Combination mapper section of the rule should show atleast 1 mapping. When the execution fails it shows 0 mapping)
