Symptoms

On : 8.0 version, Web UI

FCCM : SMTP not functioning.

Client is not able to save the Email configurations in UI.
Manage common parameters -> Used for design -> Email

ERROR

"You have made an invalid entry. Please check and enter again "


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Manage common parameters -> Used for design -> Email
2. Edit details as per screenshot
3. Save

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot save the Email configuration
