Misleading Highlight Text In High Risk Transactions: High Risk Geography scenario (Doc ID 2435048.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Behavior Detection Platform - Version 8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An issue is reported with alerts of HRG (EN) scenario.
The information displayed in highlight is misleading in the sense that these alerts appear to be duplicates when they are not

1) These are not actually duplicates
2) One alert is a Name based alert and the other is an ID based alert
3) The reason they look the same is because the High Risk Geo transaction has the same Name and Id seen in both alerts
4) However, in the Name based alerts there are some additional transactions where the name has a different ID associated with it
a) The transactions associated to the different ID are not High Risk Geo transactions. They are transaction performed by that entity name to non-HRG jurisdictions
b) However, the name being associated with the multiple ID makes this name eligible for a separate Name-focused alert
