FCDB Application Server Going Down Even When Application Server's Health is OK : Error Observed in Logs : oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: Connection borrowing returned null (Doc ID 2450094.1)

Symptoms

FCDB (Oracle FLEXCUBE Direct Banking) application is going down even when application server's health is in 'OK' status.

Below errors can be observed in FCDB logs and some blocked threads in thread dumps:

oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: Connection borrowing returned null

Database connections (UCP conn) in the connection pool is exhausted soon and application was unable to borrow more connections from the pool:
com.iflex.fcat.infra.JFException: Database connection not available.
