Symptoms

Payment transaction shows error on screen when the user's name is more than 25 characters in length but the transaction gets posted to Core Banking.

Below error is shown in the logs :
ORA-12899: value too large for column "OBDX_GIB"."DIGX_AP_TRANSACTION"."CREATOR_FIRST_NAME" (actual: 29, maximum: 25).


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Initiate a payment transaction using a user whose first name is more than 25 characters in length.
