How to troubleshoot Email Alert Generation Issues in OBDX? (Doc ID 2468547.1)

Goal

Due to various reasons it is possible that OBDX server may not be able to generate email alerts. It can be due to issue in establishing connection with SMTP server, or it may be simply due to incorrect email address. Goal is to troubleshoot such SMTP server connectivity issue with OBDX.
