Fuzzy Match Is Not Producing Expected Output When There Are Numeric Values In The Entity Name (Doc ID 2474415.1)

Fuzzy match does not take into account numbers or other characters


When the following string in the candidate and target files “3G TEST” . The result file has the following output:

87.5~3G TEST~3G TEST

Its has a match of just 87.5 % despite the two strings being identical

When the number “3” is replace by a character in both target and candidate files “AG TEST” then the result file looks like this:


It has a 100% match as expected
