Symptoms

System neglects the value entered for a mandatory UDF at closing a Bill or Re-Opening a LC although the user enters a value for the UDF but the system re-defaults it to NULL at saving,  debug files for the simulations of closing a bill & Re-Opening a LC are attached


This is encountered only for closure of bill and reopen of LC for contracts which were created before the UDFs were added to the product.
