PROBLEM: SD-UPD-1001 Unhandled Exception while visiting Settlement screen during Unlock of deal SEDXDLNL (Doc ID 2543080.1)

Symptoms

User is Unable to Visit Settlement Screen On unlock of existing deal in SE Deal Input Screen


ERROR
-----------------------
SD-UPD-1001 : Unhandled exception while processing Contract $1
ST-SAVE-028 : Failed to Process the Request

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new deal from external source which will create deal contract with Hold status
2. Unlock the contract from Deal input screen 
3. Click on settlements option to visit settlement details.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot visit/modify settlement details for a deal which is in hold status.
