Y14 : Balance Mismatch Between DE And Lombard Report Because Of Duplicate Records Elimination (Doc ID 2551199.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services - Regulatory Reporting for US Federal Reserve - Lombard Risk Integration Pack - Version 8.0.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Y14Q Schedule M, There is balance mismatch (for example MDRM CALBR661) between DE DEFD0058 and Lombard report.

As per the analysis
1. Lombard removes duplicate records from DE data based on PK column configured in Lombard config pack. For 'DEFD0058' It is identifying duplicate records based on below columns:(PK_HIFD0003,PK_HIFD0014,PK_HIFD0053,PK_HIFD0060,PK_HIFD0061,PK_HIFD0062,PK_HIFD1509,PK_HIREG001,PK_HIREG002,PK_HIREG004,PK_HIREG103,PK_HIREG504,PK_HIRHCC06,PK_HIRHI003,PK_HRU29030)
2. Value of fct_reg_account_summary.f_forward_start_flag As 'HIFD0053' is different (Y and N) for the records identified as duplicate based on above PK combination , however value of fct_reg_account_summary.n_run_skey As 'pk_HIFD0053' is same. As the configuration has 'pk_HIFD0053' but not 'hifd0053' in the list of PK columns, it is considering one of the rows as duplicate and dropping from MDRM reporting.'
3. There is another flag fct_common_account_summary.f_poci_flag as hifd0060 in DE 'DEFD0058', so hifd0060 should also be in PK list in addition to pk_hifd0060.
