PROBLEM: SI contract branch is changed during modification from another Branch with Multi Branch Access enabled (Doc ID 2566324.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.3 version, Production Support-SET

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When user does unlock-save of an SI Contract from different branch (provided multi branch access is enabled for SI screen), branch code of SI contract gets updated as current branch


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
SI Branch should not get changed on performing contract amendment from any branch

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enable multi branch functionality for SI Contract screen
2. Unlock an SI contract from a different branch
3. Perform amendment and save
4. Check the branch code of SI after amendment , it should not get changed.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot identify the SI branch when it is being modified from multiple branches
