Symptoms

On : 12.4.0.0.0 version, Implementation Support

Error message " Response is empty" when modifying UH IDS

There is an error message as "Response is empty" when user is amending beneficiary BIC Code in UH IDS function.
On analyzing further it was found that the unitholder was maintained in a list of ‘restricted’ entities in Fund Entity Mapping Detail (UTDFNENT).

Simulation steps:
1. Pick unitholder, fund from UH IDS.
2. Maintain the uh in a list of ‘restricted’ entities in Fund Entity Mapping Detail (UTDFNENT).
3. Try to amend the UH IDS.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. UTDFNENT - Set the Entity Type as "U" and Set the Entity ID as "Unit Holder ID" - Save and Authorize
2. UTDUHIDS - Query the Unit Holder ID, Unlock, Go to Routing Details Tab, Chane the Beneficiary BIC Code, Save the Changes.
3. Application is throwing error "ST-COM036 - Response is empty"
