Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
------------------------
Customer has placed an order from order capture [Order Mgmt > MF > Order Capture] screen, request for debit has gone to core banking system. Due to issue at core banking system, core baking response for FCPB is delayed for 3 min. Order is placed successfully, however user has not received any email/sms notification for placed order.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
---------------------------
Once the order is placed successfully, user should receive email/sms notification for placed order.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Place the order from order capture [Order Mgmt > MF > Order Capture] screen
2. Response from core banking should be delayed to replicate the issue

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact :

This is a financial impact issue. Since order has taken time to place and there is no intimation for placed order through mail/sms, user thinks order is not placed, so he places another order with same details, resulting in two investment/orders, which in turn resulted in 2 debits in the customer core Banking account.

Changes

 There are no changes in the environment, product, account and hardware which has triggered the issue.
