On : 12.4.0.0.0 version, Production Support-SET

Records not getting uploaded from CVDUPLOD screen for STDSTCHN - status change screen


While doing uploads from screen CVDUPLOD for the function id : STDSTCHN ,Action code : NEW , Source code : FCAT .

System says process completed successfully ,but as observed

1. No records get selected and uploaded .
2. Status is still showing as U, ideally should have been changed to E or Y .

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Insert records in sttm_upload_ac_stat_change
2. Open screen : CVDUPLOD .
3. Select function id : STDSTCHN .
4. Source code : FCAT ,as data is inserted with this source code in step 1 .
5. Action code : New
6. Save the operation .
7. Message comes as : Process completed successfully .
8. while validation ,mentioned issues were seen .

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:

Due to this issue, users cannot upload transactions from CVDUPLOD thus affecting the creation of FT contracts.
