FCIS - For Campaign Maintenance System Should Check The MMF Flag At GOR Instead Of Fund Type (Doc ID 2586778.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle FLEXCUBE Investor Servicing - Version 12.4.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On FCIS: 12.4.0.0.0 version, Implementation Support

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
Money Market Funds (MMF) are restricted for Campaign maintenance.
To restrict the MMF, the LOV values in UTDCMPMN restriction condition is based on "Fund Type" flag "Money Market" at Fund Rule setup (UTDFNDRL).
The "Fund Type" flag itself is a user maintenance (UTDFNTYPE).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
MMF funds should not be identified based on the "Fund Type" flag available in Fund Rule Setup (UTDFNDRL) as "Fund Type" itself is a user maintenance through (UTDFNTYPE).
MMF should be identified through Fund Rule Setup - General Operating Rule (GOR) based on the Field "Money Market Fund?" value setup (Y or N).

Moreover, the restriction itself is not required as counter update is required for MMF Funds as well.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch UTDFNDRL, Create a New Fund, maintain the "Fund Type" as "Money Market".
2. Select GOR - maintain the "Money Market Fund? =NO' ". Save and Authorize
3. Launch UTDCMPMN - Click LOV "Fund Type".
4. The newly created Fund ID wont get display as "Fund Type" set as "Money Market" even though in GOR it is set as "Money Market Fund? = NO".
