Mapping multiple parties into a single standard party using FSI_PARTY_STD_PARTY_MAP (Doc ID 2593369.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services - Regulatory Reporting for US Federal Reserve - Lombard Risk Integration Pack - Version 8.0.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

As per the structure of FSI_PARTY_STD_PARTY_MAP, only one-to-one mapping between bank party ID and standard party ID is supported. This might be a regulatory requirement assumption that a bank party should be uniquely identifiable and must have only one identifier across the bank sources.

However there are use cases where multiple customer IDs are present for same customer example being different customer IDs for different Branches of customer, the Out of box structure will not work in such scenario.

The goal is to provide 'Many-to-one' mapping by enabling an option to map multiple party ids to a particular standard party ID.
