Information in this document applies to any platform.
(A) FSDF values for the dimension DIM_STANDARD_PRODUCT_TYPE
Draft values for DIM_STANDARD_PRODUCT_TYPE was shared with Wells in Feb 2018. DIM_STANDARD_PRODUCT_TYPE will be available for other use cases – liquidity, Basel etc. Wells will have flexibility to manage DIM_PRODUCT_TYPE in line with Product Master.
(B) Reg Reporting Solution changes for the dimension DIM_STANDARD_PRODUCT_TYPE
Existing Regulatory Product reclassification rules would use DIM_PRODUCT_TYPE instead of Standard Product Type (DIM_STANDARD_PRODUCT_TYPE) as a Source Hierarchy for DIM_REG_PRODUCT_TYPE. Oracle will be removing Derived Entity dependency on Standard Product Types. The out of the box derivation of Reg Product Type from Standard Product Type would continue to be available. If clients (eg: Wells) want to have Reg Product Type derived directly from Product Type, they need to configure the OFSAA rules accordingly.
DIM_STANDARD_PRODUCT_TYPE will be available for other use cases liquidity, Basel etc and will be revised as required by the OFSAA applications.
