HC-C Line Item 6.a: Carrying Value Of The Seller’s Interest (Doc ID 2602549.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services - Regulatory Reporting for US Federal Reserve - Lombard Risk Integration Pack - Version 8.0.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

As per FR Y-9C Sch HC-C instructions for line item 6.a, if the reporting holding company has securitized credit cards and has retained a seller’s interest that is not in the form of a security, the carrying value of the seller’s interest should be reported as credit card loans in this item.

From a requirements perspective, element(s) are expected that can help identify the carrying value of the retained seller’s interest that is not in the form of a security. However we could not identify any such data element in the lineage for this line item

Bank wants clarification on the logic. And lineage needs to be updated to source data elements related to identification of carrying value of retained seller's interest that is not in the form of security for this line item?

Additional Information: While “N_EOP_BAL” is mapped from “STG_CARDS” table, it is not clear if this would include the carrying value of seller’s interest retained in the form of loans or securities.
