Commitment Problem when payment initiated through web services with component details (Doc ID 2610716.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.0.3 version, Production Support-SET

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In the webservices request xml, when bank passes interest component amount as 0 and principal component amount as complete settlement amount, system fails to post commitment entries and Facility available amount and utilized amount is not updating.

But when, bank passes just the settlement details without explicitly mentioning the principal and interest component, system splits the settlement amount according to schedules and passes commitment entries and facility and utilized amounts are updated correctly.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

In the webservices request xml, when bank passes interest component amount as 0 and principal component amount as complete settlement amount, system should post commitment entries and Facility available amount and utilized amount should get updated.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Pass the request xml through webservices, with interest component amount as 0 and principal component amount as complete settlement amount

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, system fails to post commitment entries and Facility available amount and utilized amount is not updating.
