Deleted Message Reappears In MailBox

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
deleted message should not appear again once deleted from mailbox

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Log in from user
Go to alert message
Delete message
Message reappears again however count becomes less by 1
