Improper Message - "Stop Cheque Failed" is Displayed After Applying Patchset 18.104.22.168.0, When Trying to Stop a Cheque which has already been Stopped

After Applying OBDX Patchset 188.8.131.52.0, When attempting to Stop a Cheque which is already Stopped ,
the following error occurs.
Stop Cheque Failed
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to OBDX Application as a Retail User.
2. Navigate to Cheque Stop > Enter Reason --> Enter Cheque Number which is already stopped --> Submit --> Error Message "Stop Cheque Failed" is shown to user.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot inquire about cheque through Cheque Status Inquiry or stop processing of cheque using Stop Cheque functionality.
This Issue Occurs after Applying Patchset 184.108.40.206.0
