Following MDRMs use the term COMBANK (Commercial Banks) and BNK (Bank) either as an equal to or as a Not equal to
FFIEC031 RC-C MDRMs: RCFDB533, RCFDB534, RCONB531, RCONB534
FFIEC041 RC-C MDRMs: RCON1288, RCONB531, RCONB534
As per Fed instructions in FFIEC031, the detailed institutional composition of "commercial banks in the U.S." includes:
(1) the U.S.-domiciled head offices and branches of:
(a) national banks;
(b) state-chartered commercial banks;
(c) trust companies that perform a commercial banking business;
(d) industrial banks;
(e) private or unincorporated banks;
(f) International Banking Facilities (IBFs) of U.S. banks;
(g) Edge and Agreement corporations
We need to know which of those values are to be mapped to COMBANK vs which are to be mapped to BNK. Please clarify
