Forgot Password Not Working From Mobile Application (Doc ID 2664141.1)

Forgot Password not working on Mobile Application

After deploying Patchset on production, customer is  facing issue on forgot password with mobile Application.
Forgot password is working fine from browser.

Following exception is seen in log file:

Caused by: Exception [EclipseLink-5010] (Eclipse Persistence Services - 2.5.2.v20140319-9ad6abd): org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.OptimisticLockException
Exception Description: The object [com.ofss.digx.domain.sms.entity.user.UserAppData@3e] cannot be merged because it has changed or been deleted since it was last read.

at org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.OptimisticLockException.objectChangedSinceLastMerge(
at org.eclipse.persistence.internal.sessions.MergeManager.checkNewObjectLockVersion(

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open mobile app , go to forgot password link and provide required details.
2. After providing the OTP, new password screen shown
3. User inputs new password and confirm password and press the submit button
4. Exception occurs and application crashes

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot perform forgot password operation in mobile app


 Patchset was recently applied on production.
