Forgot Password not working on Mobile app

After deploying Patchset 18.1.2.0.0  on production, customers are  facing issue on forgot password with mobile app.

Forgot password is working fine from web Browser .
 

ERROR
-----------------------

Caused by: Exception [EclipseLink-5010] (Eclipse Persistence Services - 2.5.2.v20140319-9ad6abd): org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.OptimisticLockException
Exception Description: The object [com.ofss.digx.domain.sms.entity.user.UserAppData@3e] cannot be merged because it has changed or been deleted since it was last read.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open mobile app and go to forgot password link
2. After providing the OTP, new password screen shown
3. User inputs new password and confirm password and press the submit button
4. Exception occurs and application crashes

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot perform forgot password operation in mobile app

Changes

 Patchset 18.1.2.0.0  promoted to production recently.
