Symptoms

When attempting to perform P2P transfer the following error occurs.

ERROR

Caused by: com.ofss.fc.infra.validation.exception.BusinessPolicyViolationException: Peer to peer transfer failed.

Object Name: paymentBusinessPolicy, Attribute Name: transferValue, Attribute Value: , Error Code: DIGX_PY_1202, Message: Please provide appropriate mobile number.[]

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login into retail user.
2. Navigate to Payments -> Transfer Money -> New Payee
3. Enter the required fields with the 8 digits beneficiary mobile number.
4. Click on Transfer.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot perform P2P transaction.
