HC-E Exclusion Of Brokered Deposits While Reporting Time Deposits (Doc ID 2678798.1)

Last updated on MAY 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services - Regulatory Reporting for US Federal Reserve - Lombard Risk Integration Pack - Version 8.0.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

HC-E MDRM BHDMHK32
As per the OFSAA configuration, V_BROKER_DEPOSIT_TYPE_CODE is configured as "MSG" or "OTH", which means that configuration will exclude all brokered deposits from this line item.

However as per regulatory instructions, all time deposits (includes brokered and non-brokered) more than $250,000 should be reported in this item.

The only exclusion is to be applied on time deposits which have been issued to deposit brokers in the form of large (more than $250,000) certificates of deposit but are participated out by the broker in shares of $250,000 or less

Logic should be similar to RC-E Memo item which reports Time deposits.
