Slowness in FCDB Application Due to Re-try Timer. (Doc ID 2683500.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Slowness is observed in FCDB (Flexcube Direct Banking) application due to re-try timer query. In AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) reports, below query is consuming significant execution time and I/O (Input/Output) waits.

Select * from hostauditlog where status in ('D','R');

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
FCDB application should work seamlessly without any delay/slowness.

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Login into FCDB application.
2. Perform random transactions.
3. Observe the application response time for loading the transactions.

Note - It's a performance issue and may happen intermittently based upon FCDB application and database load It may not get reproduced at will with above steps.
