Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When existing Recurring ACH Payment is inactive, creating another recurring ach payment, system creates duplicate ACH payment for inactive ach payment.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
System should not create a duplicate ach for existing inactive ach payment and should post ACH Recurring payment transaction for the new one.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create future date ACH in the system. Start date 28th Jul, Pmt day 28, Frequency - M
- Batch job computes next process date and set Next process date 28th Jul 2020.
- Next day modify the ACH start date from 28th Jul to 28 Aug.System doesn't recompute ACH next process date.ACH Next process remains 28th Jul
- On 28th Aug,system process ACH and set ACH next process date as 28th Aug
- On 29th Aug, system process the ACH and set next process date as 28th Sep.
BUSINESS IMPACT
