Symptoms

Report:CASTR

Verson:8.0.8.1.3

Problem description: STR application validation of Amount of transaction (and Amount of Disposition) which requires no more than 2 cent digits right of the decimal. This validation is correct and aligned with FINTRAC. However, when a case is promoted, all the decimal values are getting copied to STR application which is causing massive manual editing to remove more than 2 decimal digits in CRR.

Steps to simulate:
1. Login to ECM and select a case in which transaction activity amount has more than 3 decimal values. eg:11.184
2. Post the same case to CASTR
3. Login to CASTR and select the posted report
4. Navigate to report information tab
5. check the transaction amount and click on validate.
6. "Enter the amount in proper format" message will display as shown below.
