Symptoms
When attempting to delete a DE journal batch
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
DE-TOT10 Authorized Journal Transaction exists. Unable to delete the Batch
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a DE batch and post journal entries
2. Delete the Unauthorized journal entries posted
3. Now try to delete the batch and check if batch is deleted
BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot delete DE batch due to which it is pending in unauthorized queue and EOD cannot be commenced
