Account creation failed with error ST-ACC03 (Doc ID 2731361.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.2 version, Production Support-SET

When attempting to create a new account in STDCUSAC screen (Customer accounts maintenance), the following error occurs.

ERROR

ST-ACC03 - Failed In Obtaining the next value for sequence with error

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to customer account maintenance screen.
2. Enter the customer number/account class and click on Populate button.
3. Check whether the account number generated properly or not.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are not able create the account and will affects their ability to provide services to customer.
