ERL-6345: V_GUARANTOR_ID And Country Of Risk In FFIEC-009 (Doc ID 2734113.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services - Regulatory Reporting for US Federal Reserve - Lombard Risk Integration Pack - Version 8.0.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Version: RRS 80950, FSDF 80920
Report: FFIEC009

Require clarification on Report line Code 01007 (United States)

1. For FFIEC-009, what is the CELL_ID for United States? What is the Oracle’s logic to populate the Report line Code 01007?

2. How is the reporting performed for US’s claims on ultimate risk basis in FFIEC-009? Will it be through Mitigant table or Guarantor code or both?

3. We expect to populate Guarantor information for Municipal Bonds and NMTC notes issue by US Govt. and Govt. Agencies to the Report Code 01007. Is STG_INVESTMENTS.V_GUARANTOR_CODE the right attribute for 009 report?
Guaranteed bonds may only have V_GUARANTOR_CODE available and not Guarantee as mitigant in stg_mitigant. Will the solution consider country of guarantor (from V_GUARANTOR_CODE) for ultimate risk?
