Wrong Party ID/Name Displayed For Modify User Transaction In Audit Log (Doc ID 2737563.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 21, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Banking Digital Experience - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When some of the details of a user are modified, the Audit log record of the transaction shows user's Party ID/Name in the search result column.
As per expected functionality, the party ID column should get party ID of the user who is doing the transaction and not for whom it is done.
So if admin user is doing any operation, the Party ID/Name column should be blank.

Search result for User modify operation by Bank Admin user, should not have Party ID/Name value in Audit Log.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into OBDX as an admin auth user.
2. Modify any user from User Management.
3. Check for its entry in Audit log.
It will have value under Party ID/Name column.
