Symptoms
When attempting to link a Shipping Guarantee contract to a Bill Contract in IBDTRONL Screen
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
LC-UPL0028 Bill amount cannot be less than linked Shipping guarantee amount
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Book an LC Contract and a Shipping guarantee contract
2. Book a Bill contract for same amount of SG Contract
3. After few days, unlock the Bill contract , and add the SG in Linkages ,save and authorize
BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot link Shipping Guarantee to Bill contract , impacting Business requirement
Changes
Bill Booking and Linkage of SG to the bill are done on different days
