Symptoms

When the bank attempts to generate a signed .apk file from Android studio,
the following error occurs.

Execution failed for task :app: "transformClassesAndResourcesWithProguardForRelease"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Try to generate signed .apk file for OBDx android application from android studio.

2. Observe that it fails with error: ' Execution failed for task :app: "transformClassesAndResourcesWithProguardForRelease" '
