Screen Freeze error for closed alerts (Doc ID 2747306.1)

When user go to the alert search and list screen, and search for the alerts based on the status LOV "closed" and do not provide a date in the 'Created From' date and 'To Date' and press search the system prompts an error “A start date must be entered when searching for closed alerts. Please enter a value in the Created From or Business Date From control."
