ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

MT103 payments failing because extra space in BIC Code
System generated outgoing MT103 with tag57B instead of tag 57A , when user mistakenly input AWI with an extra trailing space.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Requirement is to trim the leading/trailing space before BIC validation.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Book an FT contract with an extra trailing space in the BIC code , in account with institution field.
2. Authorize the contract.
3. Review the outgoing MT103 generated. Tag 57 will be generated with option B instead of A.
BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, system generated outgoing MT103 with tag57B instead of tag 57A .
