Current FCCM 802 Database Moving To Oracle Exadata 18C RAC Compatibility Questions (Doc ID 2793709.1)

Goal

Customer Database is upgraded to 18C. They have questions in regards to moving to Exadata

1) We have implemented several HINTS to some queries that were causing bad plans to be picked. The go around fix
was adding a HINT. Do you see any Performance issues with Oracle Exadata and keeping the HINTS in place on the queries?

3) Our DBA's have already instructed us to monitor the SGA and to reduce if we see bottlenecks and drop indexes which may impact performance on exadata.

4) Do you have any other suggestions to improve performance with exadata or see any concerns with our move to exadata?
