DE Refresh - Retain History Is Causing Failures Due To Not Null Constraint (Doc ID 2810274.1)

Last updated on JULY 26, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services - Regulatory Reporting for US Federal Reserve - Lombard Risk Integration Pack - Version 8.0.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The retain history flag for DE which is used to keep the historical data is causing issues. The scenario is DERG1501 previously had 2 columns – HREG0021 and PK_HREG0021 and PK_HREG0021 had not null constraint and in the latest OFSAA release, this column is dropped. As the retain history flag is enabled, the resave is not dropping these columns from the DE table and the new insert query is not inserting any records which is causing failures with "Error in executing query : ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("EONE"."DERG1501"."PK_HREG0021")" error.
