FX Contract Save Error Due To More Than One Settlement Instructions (Doc ID 2811348.1)

Symptoms

On : 14.1.0.0.0 version, Production Support-SET

When more than 1 settlement instructions are configured for the same branch/customer/product/currency/module combination and settlement sequence number 0 is closed, FX contract cannot be saved due to following issues:

ERROR
-----------------------
1. LOVs to define the correct settlement sequence numbers on FXDTRONL screen are not showing the available records.
2. In the absence of correct settlement sequence number being selected by LOV, system seems to be trying to pickup the record with settlement sequence 0 and since it is closed, it does not allow to save the FX contract.

Could not resolve IS. Maintain Settlement Instructions for branch / Module / Customer / Currency / Product Code - IS-RES01


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create 2 records on ISDINSTN screen for same branch/module (=FX)/customer/product/currency combination. System assigns sequence 0 and 1 to these records automatically on save.
2. Close the record with settlement sequence 0. So only record with settlement sequence 1 remains in Open status.
3. Using the branch/product/customer/currency, try to create an FX contract. system gives IS-RES01 error on save.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot save FX contract.
