Uploaded Bulk File Randomly Gets Stuck in Verified Stage With Error - 'Exception encountered in ApprovalProcessStepProcessor' (Doc ID 2816043.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to upload file using File Upload functionality it gets stuck in Verified stage,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Exception encountered in ApprovalProcessStepProcessor[[
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0
at java.util.ArrayList.rangeCheck(ArrayList.java:659)
at java.util.ArrayList.get(ArrayList.java:435)
at com.ofss.digx.framework.fileupload.processor.ApprovalProcessStepProcessor.processRequest(ApprovalProcessStepProcessor.java:117)


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Login via corporate maker. Navigate to File Upload > File Upload
2. Upload the File using template.
3. Check the status under File Upload > Uploaded Files Inquiry .
