Error "Please Provide Valid Message Content" When Existing Message Template Font Is Modified (Doc ID 2818121.1)

When attempting to change the font for any message template with Admin User,
the following error occurs.

Please provide Valid Message Content

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Login as Admin user
2) Navigate to Alert Maintenance Screen
3) Search for a module and event
4) Select any one from list
5) Under Delivery Mode, edit email message template
6) Change font to Tahoma, and save
7) Confirm changes on review and submit
8) Error pops up

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, Admin users cannot change the font of existing message templates.
