Symptoms

Reported Version: 8.0.8.1.0
Report: CASTR

Problem Description: On the Enterprise Case Management (ECM) application, the customer's Individual's Employer name field allows more than 35 characters to be provided. This information is populated in the background from the KYC data. On ECM, the user is not allowed to edit/change this information as the business does not want the KYC data to be altered. When the ECM Individual's Employer name promotes to the STR application, the full length of the name is retained in the transaction Part by design. However, On the STR application, if the Individual's Employer name exceeds 35 characters, validation is triggered preventing STR approval until the name is reduced to meet the FINTRAC required 35 characters. This can mean correction of many transactions.
