Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Interest Accrual and Principal billed calculation incorrectly when reversal  re-posting of Due Bill occur due to back dated Advance.

Issue faced for Case 2 : Interest Accrual and Principal billed computed incorrectly when reversal and re-posting of Billing (Due Bill) occurs due to backdated Advance posting.

Case 1: Created a Line Account , posted Advances and ran billing for couple of months. The Interest Accrued/Billed and Principal Billed is computed correctly.

Case 2: Created a back dated Line Account hence the Bill already posted on account.

Now posted back dated advances with similar amount/dates as per Case 1.As per system behavior , the earlier posted bill were reversed and re-posted again. However the Interest Accrued/Billed and Principal Billed is computed incorrectly.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Ideally if in both Cases the billing cycle dates, advances posted are same then interest accrued and principal billed should also be same. Interest accrual/Principal Billed should not be different in reversal and re-posting of bill as Balances, Bill Cycle , Advance posted matches".

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Created a Line Account , posted Advances and ran billing for couple of months. The Interest Accrued/Billed and Principal Billed is computed correctly.
2. Created a back dated Line Account hence the Bill already posted on account. Now posted back dated advances with similar amount/dates as per Case 1.As per system behavior , the earlier posted bill were reversed and re-posted again. However the Interest  accrued/Billed and Principal Billed is computed incorrectly.
3. Here the Expectation is Ideally if in both Cases the billing cycle dates, advances posted are same then interest accrued and principal billed should also be same .Interest accrual should not be different in reversal and re-posting of bill.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot have calculation of Interest accrued/Billed and Principal Billed is computed correctly.
