FCCM AML Upgrade From 8.0.5 To 8.1.2 Major Concern (Doc ID 2928360.1)

We are upgrading FCCM-AML module from 8.0.5 to 8.1.2.

Now the Alerts management team is restricted from accessing the Cases. But in 8.1.2 there is no alert management (just Alert viewer) and suppression also enabled at events level on ECM UI. 

Is it possible that the Alerts team can access only events/alerts and perform its suppression without having any access to cases in 8.1.2?
