Unable To Start EOD: ORA-02089: COMMIT is not allowed in a subordinate session (Doc ID 2943760.1)

On submission of EOD, the session is not getting picked up.
Error: ORA-02089: COMMIT is not allowed in a subordinate session

As suggested in Oracle document mentioned below, we have tried the possible solution however, it's not working for us.
ORA-02089: COMMIT is not allowed in a subordinate session Error When Invoking Stored Procedure from DB Adapter (Doc ID 1428253.1)

We've checked and verified XA data sources. defaultAutoCommit is set to false as suggested. However, we are still unable to proceed.
