OTP Send Fails Via Phone Number For First Time. (Doc ID 2950148.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

OTP is not being sent the first time through mobile number, but Otp is being sent upon clicked on resend option.
The issue is not occuring if OTP is being sent through email.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Application should send OTP on first time through mobile number as well.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Log into OBDX
2) do transaction for which OTP is enabled->Confirm transaction
3) OTP is not being sent the first time-> Otp is being sent if resend otp button is clicked

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are not able to get OTP on first time through mobile number.

Changes

  No changes done to hardware/product or environment cause this issue.
