OBVAM : Closed Transaction Code Still Displayed To Select for the Transaction (Doc ID 2952250.1)

OBVAM Closing transaction code still displayed to select

Transaction record ITD is closed in OBVAM. When a user goes to create a journal online or an internal transfer in OBVAM, the option ITD is still displayed and able to be selected. When a user saves the record, an error message appears Invalid value ITD for transaction code and cannot save the record. 

The expectation is that once the record of the transaction code is closed ITD. It no longer shows on the list of Transaction Codes the user can select.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Close a Transaction Code
2. Try to use the closed Transaction code in a Journal entry
3. Save the Transaction

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users can still see Closed Transaction code in LOV. The expectation is that once the record of the transaction code is closed ITD. It no longer shows on the list of Transaction Codes the user can select.
